and Aid Direct - Founded in 1999 we are a 100% voluntary, humanitarian aid charity whose team members raise their own funds, obtain donations of aid, transport that aid in convoys of lorries twice a year, and give it out directly into the hands of the people who need it the most. |

| Magpie 4C - A cancer centre for our community - The Magpie Appeal ... our vision: a very special cancer care centre - a place where patients will benefit from the finest treatment and care available and where they, their families and friends will receive positive, practical support every step of the way. The new centre will offer the practical and emotional support for cancer patients and their carers, including information, advice, special products, services plus complementary therapies, workshops, and a library. The appeal will also fund refurbishment of the NHS Trust's oncology suite. |
